STAY-IN-FEST 2021: LIVE AND ONLINE FROM BRADFORD

The plans for this year’s very special event are progressing, slowly but surely!

Infest will be live streaming this 12 hour, special charity fund raiser show, across two channels (twitch.tv/stayinfeststage and twitch.tv/stayinfestescape) from the Student Union in Bradford University, on Saturday 28th August, from 12 noon until midnight BST.

On one channel there will be a mix of fantastic UK acts live on stage, and live streamed or pre recorded special sets from artists around the globe.

On the second channel there will be a selection of the finest DJs, to keep us all entertained through out the day, plus exclusive interviews and videos.

Keep up with the conversation: check out the discord channel, which will be the buzzing social hub for the event!

OFFICIAL STAY-IN-FEST PAGE

STAY-IN-FEST is a charity show, in aid of CALMRNLI and the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.

Please send donations via our Streamlabs tips.

CALM: The Campaign Against Living Miserably
CALM was first launched as a pilot by the Dept of Health in Manchester on 15 December 1997. The Campaign Against Living Miserably is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male.

RNLI: The Royal, National Lifeboat Institution
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Powered primarily by kind donations, their search and rescue service has been saving lives for nearly 200 years. We have chosen to support the RNLI this year in particular, to highlight their humanitarian work in the English Channel, saving the lives of refugees who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict and persecution.

PPWH: The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice provides free person-centred and family-focused palliative care and support to the people of Glasgow. We’ve chosen to support the PPWH as part of our collaboration with Beat:Cancer who continue to raise funds all year round for a range of cancer charities. In addition, Infest has always had a strong fanbase and following north of the border so we felt this was an excellent cause to support.

Please send donations via our Streamlabs tips.

Infest helps generate charity donations year on year, to organisations such as Samaritans, Guide Dogs, MIND, Congential Myotonic Dystrophy Fight Fund, Help for Heroes, as well as various cancer charities including Marie Curie Cancer Care, Macmillan, Beat:Cancer, Cancer Support Yorkshire and the Lymphoma Association, plus many more over our 23 year history.

Last year our livestream generated a huge £8,805 from donations and merch sales. Thank you!

Under normal circumstances at our in-person events, prize donations come from performing artists, our event sponsors such as Storming The Base, Barr’s Soft Drinks, Jaegermeister and others. Cash donations come from ticket holders and guests.

This year we don’t have the facilities to provide a raffle and physical prizes, so in return for organising our free-to-watch virtual festival, we’re asking fans and viewers to donate to our chosen good causes and to support our artists, DJ’s and clubs, many of whom are having a very tough time with the worldwide collapse of the music industry due to quarantine and the closure of many venues and events. If you can’t donate to artists directly, please buy their merchandise and music!

Recent donation totals from previous Infest Festivals can be seen here: 20202019201820172016.

Thank you for your support!
